It the beginning it was a book. but not any kind of book...
MY FAVORITE BOOK from the minds of my favorite writer :
PACO IGNACIO TAIBO II
We met in Mexico D.F. and we worked together on the adaptation of
this book full of Spanish Civil War fighters, Journalists, CIA Men,
Pirates of Malaysia, New York spies, WW2 resistants, MEXICO past
and present icons, ETC... I couldn't pass on an opportunity like that to
work on a story so good, so layered, so funny and so well built.
AND I DIDN'T. :)
I found an editor few years ago, but his publishing house collapsed,
leaving us half way through the 500 pages of this story.
We did 190 pages of comics and we have to do almost 300 pages to finish it
During all those years, i reworked few parts, but i was surprised to see
that most of it resisted pretty well to the ravage of time. I've learned few
trick on the way, and me and PACO are waiting to meet an editor who
will be on board with us to see this fabulous story finished.
